E-Commerce Park Comes to Jonesboro, AR

Haag Brown Commercial is excited to announce HB Industrial’s purchasing entity, Real Estate for E-Commerce, LLC, has acquired 187.39 acres for a new project along Interstate 555, just east of Shooting Complex Road. The strategically located land will soon become the site of E-Commerce Park, Northeast Arkansas’ first ultramodern logistics, warehousing and digital fulfillment park.

Conveniently located at the gateway into Jonesboro, the project has global accessibility as it is located within one day’s drive of 70% of all major US markets. The park also sits within one hour’s drive of Memphis, Tennessee, the nation’s primary distribution hub, and Arkansas’ first district, which is the largest steel producing district in America.

This is a project that has been many months in the making, with design input from some of the very best in the country. We are looking forward to making some exciting announcements in the very near future.

Because of our relationships across the state, we are constantly asked for a product in Jonesboro that just doesn’t exist. We have identified 1 to 2 million square feet of immediate local demand for last mile delivery space and we anticipate another 1 to 2 million square foot need that has not even been realized yet.

The park will provide up to 3 million square feet of logistics, warehouse and manufacturing space, helping Jonesboro strengthen its industrial backbone and remain relevant for generations to come.

There is a real need for Class A warehouse and distribution space in Jonesboro. If this need is not soon met, it will continue to force Jonesboro industries to seek this space outside of the market. Ultimately, if someone does not meet this need, it will weaken the industrial base in Northeast Arkansas.

The E-Commerce Park masterplan includes full-scale park amenities such as walking trails, multiple water features, a large loading area and potential solar farm. Real Estate for E-Commerce, LLC has engaged Martin Smith from EDG – Ecological Design Group, an Arkansas based landscape architect and civil engineer group dedicated to reconnecting communities to their landscape, to do the preliminary space plans for the project with a focus on quality of life and aesthetics.
